Membership

Senior membership to the GMFG is limited currently to 50. This is annually reviewed at the AGM. However we always try to accommodate prospective new Junior members whenever possible. Junior and non-flying Associate membership may still be considered. Please note our Group rules state that "All juniors under 18 years of age or vunerable adults must be accompanied at all times by their parent, guardian or registered carer."

Important note to all prospective visitors

Prospective new members or anyone who just wants to come along and "sample" our activities, please contact the Group's current Membership Secretary or General Secretary to discuss matters further, before visiting any of the Groups sites. See contact details page.

If you wish to visit us and fly your own models you must always provide proof of belonging to the BMFA Insurance scheme and also liase your intended visit through both the Group Secretary and also the Safety officer. See contact details page.

Please also note that we apply noise control (82dB(A) @ 7mtrs) as per the B.M.F.A. / D.o.E.'s Guidelines.
